Olivia’s working processes is heavily influenced by the human body. All her pieces start with a body expression; often through the act of dancing.
The choreographed moments are deeply introspective for Olivia, and they are fundamental in her creative process. Experimenting with her body allows Olivia to momentarily escape the burden of daily activities, liberate her mind and freely express hidden forces.
Natural Thinking
Olivia was born in the vibrant city of Barcelona. But since she was a child she had lived connected with nature between Menorca island and the remote fields of Catalonia.
This double life forms the basic rhythms of Olivia’s work; between introspection and extrospection, calm and vibrant, lonely and social.
